Project School Visit:
P.A.C.E. Academy (Richmond Hill)

Visit sponsored by: the Schad Foundation

In March 2001, we visited Richmond Hill's Pace Academy with our ten-year-old female peregrine falcon "Qetesh".  Below are two of the drawings sent to us by the students, and a letter from the school:

On behalf of the students, staff, and myself I would like to thank you for your wonderful presentation on the Peregrine Falcon.  The students found the presentation exciting, insightful, and challenging, and certainly adored your friend, the Peregrine Falcon.  Your warm and friendly disposition was well received by the children and enhanced the presentation to such an extent that the kids are still talking about it.

I would also like to express my sincere thanks to the Schad family, Robert, Liz, and Michael for their generous contribution in helping to expose the students of P.A.C.E. to such a worthwhile experience.

Good luck in your continued monitoring and support of the recovery of Ontario's peregrine falcon population.

Sincerely yours,

Barbara Rosenberg
Director
