In October 2001, we visited Our Lady of Mercy School in Honey Harbour with our young red-tailed hawk "Eric". Below is a letter from the school:
On behalf of Our Lady of Mercy School community, I would like to express our thanks to the members of the Canadian Peregrine Foundation for their recent presentation to our students. The exhibit fit in perfectly with the new ministry guidelines in science and all of our students, from grades 1-8, thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the display, especially "Eric" the red-tailed hawk.
