Project School Visit:
Ontario Street Public School (Bowmanville)

In April 2002 we visited Bowmanville's Ontario Street Public School with our peregrine falcon "Oscar".   Below is a letter from the school and a drawing by one of the students:

Your visit to our school on Thursday April 18 was very enjoyable to our
students and tied in nicely with our upcoming Earth Week celebrations.  The
grade 6 science curriculum deals with animal classifications, so mention of
species, genus, etc. is good.  The food chain idea also works well.  I have
enclosed a drawing by a grade six student in my class.
