Project School Visit:
Our Lady of Lourdes School (Kingston)

Visit sponsored by: TD Friends of the Environment Foundation

In May 2002, we visited Kingston's Our Lady of Lourdes School with our female peregrine falcon "Penny".  Below are short letters from two of the classes we visited:

The grade 4 class found your presentation amazing and very impressive.  "Penny" your special guest provoked a great deal of interest and concern for endangered species.  The video really impressed us with the way birds such as the Peregrine Falcon have adapted to a city environment.  Overall the students are very much aware of the need to protect all animals in our local
environments.

Thank you,

Grade 4 students
On behalf of my class I would like to thank you for the wonderful presentation and demonstration, we all enjoyed it very much.  I also want to thank you for taking time off to visit our classroom and showing us the beautiful Peregrine Falcon, Penny (she is a really amazing girl).  I want to thank you again for the exciting video and demonstration on Peregrine Falcons.  Now I am sure everyone in this class has a different perspective
on Peregrines!

Thank you,

The Grade 6 class
