Project School Visit:
North Meadows Public School (Strathroy)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In February 2001, we visited Strathroy's North Meadows Public School with our two-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty".  Below are two of the drawings sent to us by students at the school, followed by a brief letter from the principal:

On Thursday February 1, 2001, Mark Nash brought the peregrine falcon program to North Meadows.  The program was presented in an interesting manner that captured the attention of our students.  Mr. Nash's experience in reviewing the video, the effects of DDT, the migration routes and the transmitter was evident.  The viewing of the peregrine falcon by our students was handled very well.  It was a good presentation of great value to our students.

Sincerely,

Richard Donaldson
Principal
