The Canadian Peregrine Foundation

In February 2001, we visited Memorial Public School in St. Catharines with our two-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty". Below is a drawing of a peregrine sent to us by one of the students, accompanied by a letter from the principal.

We had the pleasure of hosting the Canadian Peregrine Foundation on Monday February 5, 2001. The presentation was very well done. A great deal of worthwhile information was presented to our students. We all enjoyed the opportunity to meet Scotty. I'm sure this presentation heightened the environmental awareness of our students. We also greatly appreciated the video and student workbooks that were provided for our staff. These are valuable resources which have become a part of our library resource centre. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to access this presentation again in a future school year.
