In November 2001 we visited Gravenhurst's Muskoka Beechgrove Public School with our young male red-tailed hawk "Eric". Below is a letter from the school:
I would like to commend the Georgian Bay Osprey Society and the Canadian Peregrine Foundation for providing the presentation to K.P. Manson Public School in Severn Bridge. The presentation was excellent. It made the students aware of the decline of Ospreys in Ontario and conservation issues related to both Ospreys and Peregrine Falcons. Educating young people in our schools regarding this issue is an important service.
