Project School Visit:
Holy Angels Catholic School (Toronto)

Visit sponsored by: The New Ontario Trillium Foundation

In spring 2000, we visited Toronto's Holy Angels Catholic School with our 9-year-old female peregrine falcon "Qetesh".  We haven't received any feedback from the students, but here is a letter from the school:

I would like to thank you very much for the excellent presentation at our school on Monday September 25, 2000.

The students and teachers were totally engaged and very interested in the information Mark Nash shared with us.

We are embarking on a school naturalization project and are working to increase the awareness of what is needed to live well in an environment.  The example of the falcon and what it needs to survive at the top of its' food chain is a perfect analogy for people.

Thank you for the excellent work you are doing and for sending us Mark Nash and the grandmother of Peregrine Falcons!

Sincerely,

Barbara Komorowski
Principal
