A visit by a wild bird of prey - what a wonderful experience for our Grade 4 and Grade 6 classes!

 

May I express my gratitude for providing this most informative and interesting presentation to the students of Holy Family Catholic School.  The undivided attention shown by our students is testament to the great job done by the presenter.  Not only did he share the facts, but he answered with ease the many questions posed.

 

The teachers present were impressed with the links to the current curriculum being taught.  The guidebook so generously provided for the students is sure to be used since it is filled with so many activities that will make further learning fun.  The video will be shared with other classes so that they can learn about stewardship of our environment.

 

Please extend to the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation our sincere thanks for their generosity in sponsoring such an excellent experience for children.  How wonderful it would be if all schools could participate.
