In May 2000, we visited Heron Park Public School in Scarborough with our 1-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty". We haven't received any feedback from the students, but here is a letter from the school:
Thank
you so much for an informative, exciting visit to our school. The children
certainly loved Scotty and listened so carefully to learn about his life and his
future.
Many of our students have said they'd like to join your group eventually to help
birds. Any time they can see first-hand what can happen because of
thoughtlessness, it helps them to be more aware of their effect on the
environment.
Keep up the great work and dedication to a worthwhile cause.
Sincerely,
Janis Glanville,
Junior Chairperson
