In the spring of 2001 we visited Toronto's Greenholme Junior Middle School with one of our peregrine falcons. Below is a letter from the school:
The Peregrine Falcon exhibit provided an opportunity for inner city school children to get a glimpse of the world beyond the high rise apartments and townhomes. They learned how some creatures survive in the wild and how we can protect the environment for them. The boys and girls even had a chance to see one of these beautiful birds in real life!
The presentation was well planned and well received by all and a benefit to any school programme.
