Project School Visit:
Forest Glen Public School (New Hamburg)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In January 2001, we visited Forest Glen Public School in New Hamburg, with our two-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty".  Below are some comments from the school:

The Grade 4,5,6, and 7 classes at Forest Glen Public School were treated to a remarkable display when the Canadian Peregrine Foundation made their presentation on Friday January 26.

They are still talking about the "awesome" peregrine and the detailed presentation.  Close to 200 students and staff were able to get very close to an endangered species.  Their awareness has been raised for many of the endangered species and that alone is a very valuable learning experience.  I would highly recommend this experience for any school.  We are thankful for the support that Canada Trust has shown for this foundation and truly hope we can participate again.

Thank you for making us aware of this opportunity and continued success.

Respectfully,

Randy Sangster
Principal
