In June 2002, we visited Elgin Market Public School in Kincardine with our male peregrine falcon, "Oscar". Below is a letter from a teacher, accompanied by drawings from two of the students:

Yesterday's presentation at Elgin Market School was absolutely fantastic! The information was appropriate to the age and grade level of the students. They were active participants by responding to questions which were asked of them and it was amazing how the students who were not being attentive (or were talking) were singled out and brought back to attentiveness.

We were impressed with how well the presenter knew her bird and also how to work with children. We were certainly given much useful information and the opportunity to ask questions at the conclusion.

Thank you for providing such a worthwhile program for the "caretakers" of our environment.
