In March 2002, we visited Guelph's Edward Johnson Public School with a one-year-old peregrine falcon named "Oscar". Below are four drawings from the students:

On March 22nd, a representative from your foundation, Tracy
Simpson, delivered an enlightening presentation on the past and present
condition of the peregrine falcon in this area of Canada. Both of the
grade 4 classes sat on the edge of their seats listening, and awaiting the
appearance of the peregrine falcon.
Tracy handled their questions, answers and discipline extremely well. We
had already studied food chains, predator/prey, habitat, raptors, carnivores
etc. in our science study in the fall of 2001, so we were well versed in this
area.
I wish to recognize and thank the TD Canada Trust - Friends of the Environment
for funding this worthwhile program.
Sincerely,
David Leis, Grade 4 Educator
