Tarah is a female peregrine falcon who hatched in 2004 and came to the CPF in the same year. She was hatched in captivity, at a breeding facility, and was destined to be sold. She was never purchased, however, and she came to the CPF. She is a fine example of the Pealei (aka Peale's) subspecies of the peregrine falcon.
