Penny's Home Page



Penny hatched in captivity in 2000 and will be used to continue the captive breeding program when she reaches maturity.  In the meantime, she has been loaned to the Canadian Peregrine Foundation to help raise awareness about peregrine falcons through our Education Program.  In the summer of 2001 she underwent her first full moult, and by September she was looking very much like an adult peregrine (see the latest photos below, in comparison to earlier pictures).  Penny was returned to Bird Control International in the spring of 2002, and CPF thanks them for having loaned her to us up to that time.
