Max is a male Harris' Hawk who hatched in 2002 and came to the CPF in 2003. He came from the Severn Bridge, Ontario, area, and retired as a failed falconry bird. He was used particularly in vineyards, but never caught anything. Perhaps this was intentional, however, as, in addition to being a part of the CPF's outreach team, at the Raptor Centre Max has been a star member of the CPF's flight team.
