Project School Visit:
Regent Park / Duke of York Public School (Toronto)

Visit sponsored by: The New Ontario Trillium Foundation

In January 2000, we visited Regent Park / Duke of York School with our one-year-old peregrine falcon "Scotty".  We haven't received any feedback from the students, but here is a letter from the school:

Thank you very much for the wonderful presentations that you conducted at our school, Regent Park / Duke of York Public School.  As you know, the children in our community are disadvantaged in many ways.  Hence, it was a very valuable experience for our inner-city students to learn more about endangered species and Canadian wildlife.

We felt that the presenters were able to modify their information in order to accommodate the needs of the children at every grade level and we would welcome this organization back into our school anytime.

Sincerely,

John Bairos, Teacher-Librarian
