Project School Visit:
Chisholm Public School (Oakville)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In February 2001, we visited Oakville's Chisholm School with our two-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty".  Below are some comments from the school:

It is a pleasure to write this note of appreciation to thank you for the presentation that Kelly Harker made at the Chisholm School on Feb 16, 2001.  The presentation was full of information that tied directly to the curriculum.  This fact together with Kelly's very inviting and dynamic approach allowed for excellent student interaction.  Our school has an active Environmental Club that involves students in tracking migratory patterns of birds and so the beautiful falcon who delighted us all was of particular interest to our many "bird watching" students.

Please extend our thanks to the Canada Trust Friends of the Environment Foundation for sponsoring our school.  We truly appreciate being able to enrich the curriculum through such a special opportunity.

Sincerely,

Nicole Dolson
Principal
