In January 2003 we visited Brantford's Cedarland School with one of our peregrine falcons. Below is a letter from the school:
On behalf of the Cedarland students and staff, I would like to extend my genuine thanks to you and The Canadian Peregrine Foundation and the TD Canada Trust - Friends of the Environment for providing this excellent presentation at our school.
Every aspect of this presentation was outstanding. From the video, to the oral presentation by Maya, the teacher follow-up materials, and the grande finale of the children being able to view the falcon, this was a very well thought out and welcome addition to our school curriculum. It certainly gave all of us some of the insights and inspiration to become better stewards of the environment.
I recommend your program highly and look forward to booking you for another presentation some time soon.
