In June 2000, we visited Brookville School with our one-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty". Below are some comments from one of the teachers:
The Foundation was very accommodating in making several presentations that occurred that day, which allowed for smaller groups of students, a closer look at the animal, and a greater amount of time for questions. I found the presentation to be well organized, and effective in its use of a variety of resources. The students had the opportunity to watch a video, ask questions of an expert, and of course, the highlight of the presentation, meet a falcon.
Overall, I would recommend this presentation for both personal or curriculum learning, particularly in the junior grades.
Sincerely,
Sarah Oesch, Junior Team
