In April 2002 we visited Etobicoke's Broadacres Public School with our female peregrine falcon "Qetesh". Below is a letter from the school:
The
peregrine falcon presentation provided a unique and rewarding learning
opportunity for students at Broadacres Junior School. Many pertinent
ecological and environmental issues were raised, enhancing the students
awareness of this important species and its relevance to all levels of life. The
children were actively engaged through effective questions and discussion,
resulting in a highly motivated learning experience. having an opportunity
to learn more of the local environment of this bird, and then actually meeting
Qetesh were special and meaningful highlights of this
presentation.
