In March 2000, we visited Baden Public School with our one-year-old male peregrine, "Scotty". Below is a letter from the principal:
Dear Friends of the Environment,
Many thanks for your support of the Canadian Peregrine Foundation and their visits to the schools in our area. The children at Baden School were enthralled with both our presenter and our feathered visitor. The presentation was outstanding for the grade 4 and 5 levels. They were interested to learn more about the species and empowered to learn the success of the interventions to save this species from extinction. Children need to hear that there are success stories and that our little efforts colelctively can and do make a difference.
