In February 2000, we visited Ottawa's Alta Vista Public School with a live peregrine falcon named "Felix". Below are some comments from the vice-principal:
Last week we were fortunate to have Bill Green visit our school to do a presentation for our students from grades five to seven, on the peregrine falcon. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the presentation, especially since he arranged to have a falcon here for them to see. Our teachers were also pleased to receive the booklets that he left along with a video. These are valuable resources that allow them to prepare effective follow-up lessons.
We sincerely appreciate the learning opportunity that your organization provided for our students.
Yours truly,
Donna Gracey, Vice-Principal
