Project School Visit:
Alloa Public School (Brampton)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In March 2001, we visited Brampton's Alloa Public School with our 9-year-old peregrine falcon "Qetesh".  Below is a letter we received from one of the students after the visit.

On behalf of Alloa Public School we would like to thank you for bringing in your falcon and teaching us about them.  We appreciate you teaching us about DDT, the food chain, and the falcon itself.  We think it was very neat and interesting.  We all learned new facts about falcons that most of us would have not known.  Like it could turn its head 180 degrees, it is the fastest bird and it is very smart and tricks the enemy birds.

Thank you for your wonderful presentation.

Yours truly,

Alloa Public School
