Today, we were honoured with a Peregrine Falcon Presentation to our grades 4 to 6 classes. A total of 210 students were awed, educated and inspired by  Maya's presentation. She was able to captivate, amuse, enthuse and inform  these very diverse audiences.

 The presence of Qetesh, the peregrine, capped off an amazing presentation.  Students were enthralled with the information, the pace and the subject area.

 The presentation covered many areas which relate, not only to student  curriculum, but, perhaps most importantly, to the development of an  environmental and ecological conscience.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank and to congratulate your  foundation, Maya and the sponsor, TD Canada Trust - Friends of the  Environment. I have, in my last two schools, been directly involved with  their good works and financial support.

When I noted the students' smiles, concentration and intensity of concern,  the fact that, it is through our children and students that the future of  this planet has hope, was, even more deeply, engraved.
