I am writing this letter on behalf of the Grade 4 and 5 students at Couchiching Heights Public School.  The Canadian Peregrine Foundation Project School Visit was held at our school on Thursday, May 8.

The students and teachers found the presentation to be very informative.  Maya presented the information in a way that kept the students interested and in addition, raised their awareness of the environmental issues affecting Canada's endangered and threatened raptors.  The information given ties in nicely with the Science Life Curriculum.

We would also like to thank the TD Canada Trust - Friends of the Environment for providing the funding for this project.
