Project School Visit:
Shakespeare Public School
On January the 10th, 2006, we visited Stratford's Shakespeare Public School. Below is a letter from the school.
Thanks so much for selecting Shakespeare Public School as an audience for the Peregrine Falcon presentations. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Rockwell Automation for generously providing the necessary funding for making this invaluable opportunity a reality for our students.
Students and staff members alike found the presentation to be both interesting and informative. Specifically, the links to the curriculum reinforced the concept of food chains and the presence of the peregrine falcon helped students better understand the plight of endangered species. The background information encourages us to think about the impact we have concerning environmental issues and the role we play in sustaining such important initiatives.
We were very fortunate to have Maya Basdeo as our presenter. Her engaging nature and captivating presentation not only held student interest but also encouraged thoughtful questions and meaningful discussions.
We wish you continued success in your conservation programs and your educational endeavours.
Sincerely
Sylvia Cattrysse
