Project School Visit:
Heather Heights Public School

Visit sponsored by: The Lloyd-Carr-Harris Foundation

On December the 6th, 2004, we visited Scarborough's Heather Heights Public School. Below is a letter from the school.

On behalf of students and staff of Heather Heights Jr. Public School, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your presenter for coming to our school.

Thanks to your presentation, we have learned many facts about the Peregrine Falcon and its habitat. We also learned the harmful effects that chemical pesticides, such as DDT, can have on animals and the food chain.

We enjoyed meeting the presenter, watching the video, doing the activities and most of all, seeing a beautiful live Peregrine Falcon.

Thank you for helping preserve the Peregrine Falcon population so that future generations can enjoy its beauty.

Sincerely, Mrs. Clark's grade
five/six split class
