Project School Visit:
William G. Davis Junior Public School
On September the 17th, 2004, we visited West Hill's William G. Davis Junior Public School. Below is a letter from the school.
On behalf of the staff and students of William G. Davis Junior Public School, we wish to thank you for the presentation made by the Canadian Peregrine Foundation. Our students found the presentation to be very informative and engaging. They certainly appreciated having an opportunity to learn about peregrine falcons and why these birds of prey are endangered. Our students also enjoyed having an opportunity to ask questions and to see a live peregrine falcon.
Our librarian appreciated receiving a copy of the video "Life on the Edge" along with the copies
of "Students' Guide to Ontario's Endangered Species". They will be an excellent reference for
research assignments.
Sincerely yours,
The Staff and Students of William G. Davis Jr. PS
