My name is Tasha Facchin. I am writing on behalf of all of the grade 4
and grade 6 teachers and students at Treeline Public school. I would like
to sincerely thank The Canadian Peregrine Foundation for delivering two
workshops at our school on Friday October 24 2003.
The presenter Maya, arrived promptly and delivered an excellent
presentation to both grades. She was animated in her delivery of the
program and the students were captivated. The workshops were an excellent
tie in to the school science curriculum and provided a basis for discussion
in the classroom. The materials (students guide and video) left by the
presenter have enabled teachers to extend the concepts introduced in the
workshop.
I would like to thank the Canadian Peregrine Foundation for sponsoring
this education school visit. It proved to be an educational experience that
fulfilled its intention of raising awareness about endangered species.
Sincerely, Tasha Facchin

Mia visited our school last week, with one of your peregrine falcons. We all found it so educational. She provided us with lots of great information, as well as a chance to see this great raptor up close. This tied in extremely well with our Diversity of Living things unit, we are presently doing.
One students comepleted a picture which he hoped you could put on your website. (Plus some others from a grade 4 class)
Thanks again,
Phil Beveridge
