Project School Visit:
St. Sebastian School

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

On December the 17th, 2003, we visited London's St. Sebastian School. Below is a letter from the school.

Recently, four classes of students at St. Sebastian Catholic School in London, Ontario, had the privilege of meeting Maya and her friend, Ariel. The children were thrilled and thoroughly enjoyed the presentation.

The workshop was well organized and very informative. Maya set a warm and welcoming tone from the start and was very comfortable in dealing with the students. Her explanations were clear and easily understood and her enthusiasm was contagious.

The students appreciated the video and the chance to learn so many interesting facts about the Peregrine Falcon. They were especially excited to have had the chance to see Ariel. The information tied in well with our Habitats and Diversity of Living Things science units.

We are very grateful and thank The TD Canada Trust - Friends of the Environment for the financial support of this valuable program. Without such funding, we would have missed out on this wonderful opportunity.

Sincerely,
