On behalf of the Grade 4 and 6 teachers and students at Dr. H.D. Taylor Public School
we would like to thank your foundation for the insightful and educational presentation
about Peregrine Falcons. Our appreciation goes out to the TD Bank for providing the
funding for the foundation to attend our school and deliver this program.
This program provided an exciting opportunity for the Grade 4 and 6 students to meet a
live bird of prey and learn about its natural habitat. There was a clear connection with the
Ontario Curriculum Expectations (Science-Life Systems: Habitats and Communities).
We would also like to acknowledge and thank Maya Basdeo for her well planned and
delivered presentation. She showed great enthusiasm and engaged the students in
educational discussions.
We hope this special program continues to be available to elementary schools throughout
Ontario.
Sincerely,
Ms. L.Palazzolo, Mrs. L. Bates and Miss. S. Zaccagnini
