Project School Visit:
Delaware Central School
On January the 14th, 2004, we visited Delaware's Delaware Central School. Below is a picture and a letter we received from there.

What an exciting way for our students and staff to learn first hand about endangered species and peregrine falcons. Thank you so much for visiting our school and sharing your expertise through such an interesting presentation. Maya Basdeo captured the inquisitive minds of our students and answered their questions honestly and competently. It is so obvious that she loves her job ~ and so does the falcon!
We are grateful to the TD Canada Trust - Friends of the Environment for their generous funding, thus allowing the falcon and her handler to attend our school, present their program and leave valuable learning materials.
I do hope the peregrines will again return to the Canada Trust Building in downtown London to re-build a home. A local focus would be wonderful to monitor.
Thank you again for your generosity and interest in providing this dynamic presentation to our children.
