Project School Visit:
Chippewa Public School
On January the 15th, 2004, we visited London's Chippewa Public School. Below is a letter from the school.
On behalf of the staff and students at Chippewa Public School in
London, Ontario, I would like to thank the Canadian Peregrine
Foundation for their inspirational presentation. Feedback from staff
and students was very positive (AWESOME as some students put it!),
Although Maya Basdeo certainly knows how to relate to students and
gave an excellent presentation, it was Ariel who stole the show - what a
beautiful bird! The presentation provided the students an opportunity
to express what they knew and allowed them to "grow" as they learned
first hand of die struggle of the Peregrine Falcon.
Thanks must also go to the TD Canada Trust - Friends of the
Environment for providing the funds necessary to enable us to bring
this enriching activity to our students.
Once again thank you for tills worthwhile, enriching opportunity,
Mike Pezzutto
Vice- Principal
Chippewa Public School
London, Ontario
P.S. We have posted pictures of the presentation and a thank you on
our website at www.tvdsb.on.ca/chippewa
