ARTICLE 5 - Free Texas Birding Seminar in
Toronto

Calling all birding enthusiasts! Anyone who loves birds is invited
to attend a FREE seminar featuring leading birding authority, Mr. Ted Lee Eubanks. Mr.
Eubanks will speak for the first time in Toronto to deliver an educational presentation on
bird watching in Texas. The seminar will be held Thursday June 22 at 7 p.m. in the Rogers
Media Building at Ryerson Polytechnical University.
With 618 species documented, Texas is the number one birding destination in the U.S. Texas
is home to the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail, a 500-mile marked trail from Port Arthur
to Brownsville, of which Mr. Eubanks was one of the principal designers.
Mr. Eubanks is an award-winning international nature tourism consultant and president of
Fermata Inc.; an organization dedicated to nature tourism research and development. He
served on the board of directors of the National Audubon Society and is widely published
on environmental and natural history issues.
