June 29th, 2000 -- Any time we release a peregrine, we're a bit nervous because we want the bird to do well. But today's release turned out to be a truly hair-raising experience! Just after we let Magellan go, a rapidly advancing thunderstorm moved into the area, and the electricity in the air actually caused everyone's hair to stand on end. Etobicoke Falcon Watch volunteer Margaret Van Every was one of many to experience this very eerie situation.
