May 28th, 2002 -- Rob Messervey of the Ministry of Natural Resources holds Surge, while MNR biologist Mark Heaton secures one of his bands. Visible on the table below are some of the photos which are used to help age the peregrines in situations where their hatching date is not known; at Etobicoke the video monitoring permits us to know the age of each chick precisely.
